My old raytracer, I added antialiasing (shooting many rays through and around the center of the pixel). Maybe I will implement a full path tracer solution one day for softer shadows and other stuff. Maybe I will fully understand BRDF one day and implement that too.

Doom Mastery
It's funny to notice that after so many years I still learn weird stuff I didn't know about doom, like bugs I hadn't noticed before, for example this sky bug (seriously, I always remember the wrong version as the right one in my old play sessions :) and not only.
It's also fantastic what information the Doom Wiki holds.
I mean, even for the partial invisibility sphere they mention tiny details that are too essential to my playing experience, like the fact that with projectile throwing monsters this bonus is worse for experienced players who are used to strafe mechanically around enemy projectiles, because the invisibility sphere makes monster throw projectiles at random directions and this makes the doom acquired strafing around projectiles skill that your brain is hardwired through years of playing obsolete. Something that I knew from personal experience but never expected to see it in the wiki. There are more into it. As a huge fun of doom in general and a mapper and also curious about it's tech or strange gameplay quirks, I find a lot of surprising stuff in the wiki. Oh,. the doom scene must be soooo strong..
